What should I make...

With these two yarns? I'm thinking a small purse out of the black hemp but I have no idea what to make with the Cascade Bulky Leisure. There's only 127 yards of it so it'll have to be fairly small (of course, I could go buy some more...:))

There's 200 yards of the hemp so I think I've got enough of that to make a small purse. I'm now looking for patterns. If you have any ideas on a pattern for either of these yarns, please let me know! They are getting lonely sitting there all unknitted!

Happy Birthday Wishes

I wanted to wish my friend, Beth, a Happy Birthday! She's turns 1/3 rd of a century tomorrow. :) We're going to go to a local bar tomorrow night with some friends and coworkers to celebrate.

Jaguar Training...

(He's impatient...This is actually something we do not encourage. In fact when I noticed him doing this I turned my back to him. Animals have broken their teeth biting the bars...)

The death of a box elephant...

This is an enrichment item we made for the filming of a BBC Tiger Documentary.(No I won't be on there...I was strictly behind the scenes...You will, however, see my supervisor and a coworker on there. :))

I think I'm in love....

with Bond, James Bond (aka Daniel Craig).












I just got back from seeing Casino Royale and let me tell you, it's a great movie! And Daniel Craig looks excellent as James Bond! Don't you agree?

And I definitely love the car too!



The movie was a little long (over 2 hours) but it did contain several excellent action shots that are characteristic of the James Bond movies. I forsee me seeing this again! (even if it is just to Daniel Craig!)
